CONduit, the longest running Science Fiction and Fantasy convention in Utah has selected a new theme for our 2009 Conference. Join us for The Evil Overlords of CONduit! We are looking for truly creative people to make this convention even better than ever! Volunteers are always needed and welcome. All levels of skills in a huge variety of opportunity awaits even the most casual participant. The more you get involved, the more fun you have.

The next Concom (Conference Organizing Committee) meeting will be held at 10:00am, Saturday August 9 at the Sprague Library.

Our major business is regarding approval of a probable hotel contract with Radisson.

CONduit received many requests this year to reconsider the policies and practices of the Hall Costume Contest. One of the primary objections is having to "beg" for ribbons. Concom takes these concerns seriously and we are looking at reviewing the rules to have categories for those who are not interested in the begging. Several suggestions for changes and improvements were proposed.
