All Fools Day Faire
The All Fools Day Faire
is a medieval/Renaissance festival in Eagle Mountain held annually at the beginning of April
(hence the name).
Anime Banzai
Anime Banzai
is the largest anime convention in Utah, an educational convention
focusing on Japanese anime (animation), manga (comics) and culture. First held in
2005, Anime Banzai has grown from 600 at the first event to over 3000 in 2010. It
is held in October every year.
Dark Arts Festival
The Dark Arts Festival,
founded in 1993 (though on hiatus from 1995-2001), celebrates gothic, industrial, and punk underground
art and fashions. Held annually in June.
Life, the Universe, & Everything
Life, the Universe,
& Everything is the longest-running and largest academic science
fiction and fantasy symposium in North America. It is held annually at Brigham
Young University in Provo, Utah. Held annually in February or March.
SaltCon
 SaltCon
is an annual game convention in Utah held in February every year. Come play board
games, trading card games, and more!
Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire
The Utah Renaissance Festival and
Fantasy Faire is an annual event celebrating all things medieval, Renaissance, and fantasy.
Held at the beginning of May.
Westercon 2014 Bid
Westercon is an annual regional
science fiction and fantasy convention held somewhere on or near the West Coast of North America.
Utah fans are spearheading a bid for the 2014 convention. Traditionally held over the July 4th
holiday weekend. There will be a link as soon as they have a website put together.
World Horror Convention 2012
World Horror
Convention is an annual professional convention for authors, artists,
and publishers working in the horror and dark fantasy fields. The local con-running
crowd put on a well-received convention in 2008, and is ready to put it on again
in March 2012.
